Our Core Production Staff
Crew Members are the core of our production teams. As a Design & Installation Crew Member, you'll work with a team under the direction of your Crew Supervisor to build custom landscapes from in-house designs. No two properties and no two projects will be the same, making each new design a job awaiting your creative signature.
You and your team will be responsible for providing a wide range of installation services, running the gamut from softscapes (new plantings and plant care for existing landscapes) to hardscapes (outdoor living elements, grading and water management) and other custom elements.
Responsibilities
As a Crew Member, you'll be asked to support your Crew Supervisor in implementing custom landscape designs. Duties include:
Softscape installations, including perennials, shrubs, trees and ornamental plants.
Small hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, retaining walls and other durable landscapes.
Operators needed. This crew will require the use of material handlers, excavators and other small equipment.
This is a construction crew. Digging, lifting, hauling, raking & other hands-on labor will be routine.
The use of varied and sometimes specialized tools will be required, depending on the project.
Scheduled maintenance of crew trucks and equipment.
Scheduled upkeep of office grounds and garage.
Objectives
Creating new landscapes isn't about filling a space with plants or patios. Our custom outdoor designs are meant to capture inspiration from our clients. As a design & installation Crew Member, you and your team will bring that inspiration to life.
Residential builds are the core of our installation business. You may find yourself tearing out an entire aged landscape, creating a whole-house design for new properties or tending to legacy landscapes with subtle but important touches -- all in the same week.
Versatility and creativity are key. Our design & installation teams work with a wide range of tools, earth materials and equipment to create custom outdoor designs our customers will love.
Each day will be an opportunity to learn and advance.
Requirements
We require that all our Crew Members are able to meet basic criteria, including:
Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and in a safe manner.
Ability to operate powered landscape equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers & other basic equipment.
