Blue Holly BLUE PRINCESS (Ilex x meserveae) are medium sized evergreen holly shrubs. They grow up to 12′ tall with plentiful blue-green foliage. The leaves have multiple lobes with sharp points. Small white flowers produce dark red berries when pollinated. The berries remain throughout winter and are attractive to birds.

BLUE PRINCESS prefers acidic, medium moisture, well drain soils in full sun to part shade. These shrubs should be provided with shelter from winter winds.

These large shrubs can be used to create natural fences or borders. The berries are prefect for winter interest and can have birds visiting all winter long.

BLUE PRINCESS are large holly shrubs with notably blue foliage and bright red berries. Hollies are dioecious, meaning that they come in separate male and female plants.
