Rough Goldenrod' Fireworks' Characteristics
'Fireworks' are easy to grow perennials if grown in the proper conditions. The soils should be slightly acidic and never allowed to dry out. While full sun is preferable, light shade is tolerable. 'Fireworks' can propagate quickly, either by spreading roots or self seeding. Clip back the spent flower heads to prevent self seeding. They may spread quickly but are not considered to be invasive.
There are few serious disease or insect issues that threaten the health of 'Fireworks'. Powdery mildew, leaf spot, and rust may occur.
