Shasta Daisy 'Becky' Characteristics
'Becky' are low maintenance, easy to grow perennials. Soils must be well drained as saturated soil can be life threatening. Light or sun dappled shade can be appreciated but is not required. Deadheading makes way for additional blooms. 'Becky' may stop flowering if the plants become overcrowded, as they are self propagating. It is advisable to divide the plants ever few years to reduce likelihood of overcrowding. Cutting flowers stems to the foliage after the flowering season may help to prolong the overall lifespan of 'Becky'
'Becky' can be susceptible to verticillium wilt, leaf spot, and rots. Leaf miners and mites may make their home on the foliage.
