Winterking Hawthorn 'Winter King' Characteristics
'Winter king' are small trees or large shrubs that bring multi-season interest to small landscapes or urban settings. The white flowers of spring give way to small red fruits in fall that persist until winter. While the fruits are edible, they are not considered to be of culinary value unless made into a jam. Small thorns occasionally pop up.
