Description

Blue Atlas Cedar Characteristics

A wonderful ornamental addition to a yard, the Blue Atlas Cedar is a large eye-catching centerpiece. With blue/green needles that last all year, this tree is perfect for winter interest.

This is one of only a few coniferous/evergreen trees that flourishes during hot summer months and is drought resistant. Once established with regular watering, this tree is perfect for hillsides or areas with little water. However, branches at the top may be vulnerable to breakage under heavy snow.

The Blue Atlas Cedar does not attract deer, but will provide a nesting area for birds.
